The direct threats include preying on native species, outcompeting native species for food or other resources, causing or carrying disease, and preventing native species from reproducing or killing a native species’ young. In the indirect threats of invasive species includes changing the food web in an ecosystem by destroying or replacing native food sources. Invasive species can also alter the abundance or diversity of species that are important habitat for native wildlife. Inland Invasive Fin Fish species that causing threat are Bighead carp, Aristichthys nobilis; African catfish, Clarias gariepinus; Black carp, Mylopharyngodon piceus; Mozambique tilapia, Oreochromis mossambicus; Nile tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus; Common carp, Cyprinus carpio; Red Piranha, Pterygoplichthys nattereri; Western Mosquito fish, Gambusia affinis; Eastern mosquito fish, Gambusia holbrooki; Guppy, Poecillia reticulata ; Vermiculated sailfin catfish, Pterygoplichthys disjunctivus; Suckermouth armored catfish, Pterygoplichthys multiradiatus; Amazon sailfin catfish, Pterygoplichthys pardalis; Parana sailfin catfish, Pterygoplichthys anisitsi, and the shell fish species is Golden Apple snail, Pomacea canaliculata
